JF017E, CVT8, RE0F10G

  • JATCO JF017E (RE0F10E / RE0F10G / CVT8) – an electronically controlled continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) designed for higher-torque vehicles with a transversely mounted engine and front-wheel or all-wheel drive (FWD/AWD). The transmission belongs to the JATCO CVT8 family and is used in various versions of Nissan and Infiniti models, especially with 3.5 l V6 engines.

    The JF017E design uses a metal traction chain, variable-diameter conical pulleys and a torque converter with a lock-up clutch. Unlike the JF016E, which uses a steel push belt, the JF017E is designed for higher loads and, according to JATCO technical data, is rated for up to 380 Nm of torque. The electronically controlled hydraulic system ensures smooth ratio changes, and in some variants fixed gear steps can be simulated.

In addition, not all engines and production years of the listed vehicles correspond to this transmission.
