JATCO

JATCO is a Japanese company and one of the world's largest manufacturers of automatic transmissions and CVTs (continuously variable transmissions). Nissan owns the majority of its shares, so JATCO transmissions are most often fitted to Nissan, Infiniti, Renault, Mitsubishi and Suzuki vehicles. They are also used by other manufacturers. The same transmission model may appear under different codes in catalogues. The code depends on the make, the market and the specific model.
