    Important technical note

    Over the years, changes were made to the clutch components of these transmissions, especially to friction plates, steel pistons and rubber-metal pistons. These parts are often referred to as Generation 1 (G1), Generation 2 (G2) and Generation 3 (G3). Based on the available information, however, the components were not changed at the same time. As a result, different combinations of components may be found even in transmissions with the same letter codes.

    Before installation, the supplied part must be compared very carefully with the component found in the transmission.
