DPO AL4 EPC / Lock-Up solenoid

Important information when replacing earlier-design solenoids:

This is the later-design solenoid, silver with a black connector. It supersedes the earlier solenoid with a white connector.

When replacing the earlier-design solenoids, both the EPC and Lock-Up solenoids must be replaced together. Transmission ECU reprogramming may also be required because the PWM operating frequency differs with the later design.

Approximate changeover dates to the later design:

• Citroën – from 09/2003
• Peugeot – from 09/2003
• Renault Mégane – from 09/2003
• Renault Laguna – from 01/2004
• Other Renault models – from 03/2004
